I agree. I have been getting back into EE and China is just ridiculous. Maybe they could do a mode online where it was more like voobly. For the OG fan base that wants to play the game as it was. With updated visuals, ui, and quality of life improvements. But I like having more civs to chose from. I like the potential idea of reusable god powers. Like in halo wars and lotr bfme2. 2 of my other all time favs. I'm excited at the idea of new content. But perhaps that would be better saved for an aom 2 further down the line. Perhaps this should keep to the spirit of the old game and then we get a new one. Thoughts?

I think the slingers have a bonus against counter infantry because if the Egyptian is in Classical and the greek goes Heroic to pump out Hypaspists, there is nothing Egypt can do. I think the Horus upgrades should do something like beast slayer does for Greek. They desperately need a way to kill Collossi.

Don't forget that flaming weapons also permanently increases the damage of all human units who are alive and any that will be created in the future. I wanna see how they tackle that in the remake 'cause that ability actually stacks on itself in this game if you use it more than once one way or another.

Nice game from Set. Btw, you are able to defend against Tornado with just pieces of wall to absorb some of the damage. Very cheap way to do it. Probably wouldn't prevent UW from going down tho.
